The Evolution of Photojournalism
For decades stories had been printed to spread media to readers around the world, however it was the conceiving of photojournalism which came up with the real taking of occasions and brought stories alive for readers. It was a photo that captured the setup of a thought Vietnam terrorist and the terror of a small girl on fire that amazed readers around the globe and transformed the way they viewed the Vietnam War. It had been a photo of the battleship Maine sinking near Cuba that increased acceptance and support for Cuban independence coming from Spain and U. S i9000. involvement in the Spanish-American War. It was a variety of photos from the Great Depression and the Korean Conflict that altered the way persons viewed the world. Photography makes a " true life” point of view of testimonies and events and gives aesthetic pleasure that a created story exclusively cannot do. It is this kind of reason that photojournalism became popularized and took about such a tremendous role in broadcasting and news coverage.
