After viewing this weeks studying as well as dealing with other scholar arguments about why they can be against interaction privacy laws and regulations and plans, I feel more strongly info being crucial for success. Those who fear staying watched are definitely the ones whom know they are doing wrong. Companies have right to find what is going on, they will pay the salaries of every employee.
In times like today a company should know what is going on within itself. Which means that having access to computer systems, email, mobile devices along with monitoring systems in the place of work. Some of my fellow classmates to not believe some of the practices but every our reading in Work environment Privacy this stays that " Within the " ordinary course of business” exemption, for example , employers might monitor email communications if the employer can show a legitimate business purpose for doing so” (Friedman, Reed, 2007). In the event that employees realize that they are getting closely viewed it diminishes the chances of them not working or perhaps cheating the organization.
Several may believe from our browsing it says " Although employers have sufficient legitimate good monitor employees' electronic sales and marketing communications, they also have to consider unfavorable implications of increased employee monitoring in terms of the effect of such procedures on employee perceptions and attitudes" (Friedman, Reed, 2007). For me this does not work since if you are frightened of being viewed on camera or having someone proceed through work items then you happen to be clearly performing something you should not be. Anyone who owns a company would concur that the easiest way to stay in organization is really know what is going on within your company.
